This InStill Life Global project took place in St. Raphael, Haiti in July and August of 2011. Three teachers from the Okanagan-Skaha BC School District traveled to Haiti with a group called Help Us Save Us (HUSU) to work with young people in art, literacy and communication. The project enabled the students to impact their own situation and community, as their artwork was transformed into greeting cards. All proceeds from the sale of these cards will go directly towards supporting these children’s education and summer camp experiences. Hope is turned into action with each image, and with every card sold, a child’s life will change!
